A century of servitude to enterprising men.

The virgin oak from which this urn has been handcrafted once stood tall in Wisconsin. Proud. The majestic tree was felled by enterprising woodsmen sometime prior to 1880. Sawn by the steam machines of enterprising lumbermen. The timbers then sold to enterprising craftsmen to construct a barn. Occupied by five generations of yet more enterprising men of animal husbandry, this oak stood through the winds of time though many seasons of harvest and drought.

Salvaged from the beams after standing idle for more than two decades, this oak has been given purpose once again by an enterprising young man whose hands crafted the oak into this urn. May this urn continue in servitude to a once young enterprising man or woman for centuries.
